About the artists
Chaia (Kaia Berman Peters) is a DJ, accordionist, and vocalist. Raised in the Jewish klezmer tradition, she makes electronic music that bridges klezmer with techno and house music. She's performed her music internationally, including at Shtetl Berlin, KlezKanada, Yiddish New York, NICE, A Fest, and Nowadays.
2MS (Dan Tombs) is a visual designer. He's worked with Jon Hopkins, Fred again.., Four Tet, Nia Archives, and Tim Burgess. He's installed and performed at venues including the Sydney Opera House, Brixton Academy, the Royal Festival Hall, Berlin Funkhaus, Utrecht TivoliVredenburg and Brooklyn Steel. His estival work includes Coachella, Melt, Glastonbury (West Holts, Park and Glade stages), Fuji Rocks, Montreux Jazz, Primavera and Sonar.
